Web Design
make____ is a new online creative magazine. Each month, a new theme is announced and submissions welcomed in any medium. The first theme (pictured) featured fiction, poems, photographs, a painting, clothing, and a pie!
make____ was created and is edited by Sarah Van Bonn, herself a contributor. I designed and coded the site, and will continue to redesign and develop make____ in subsequent editions. Expect to see thematic visual styles for each edition and new features and improvements in the coming months.
The site is constructed on (shoehorned into?) WordPress, with valid XHTML and CSS coded by hand. jQuery provides the Columnizer Plugin. Text replacement is performed with cufón. I hope to move make___ to drupal in the very near future.
